As long as my value is dependent on someone’s greater or lesser value, then it demands a world where there are people that are less valuable than me.

Ground yourself.
After one of my client calls, I asked myself what I could create that would support my clients and other women who so badly want to feel grounded, present, and in their body. And, I knew it needed to be something easy that they could do in short little windows of time.
2% More Sunshine
I realized it’s not about being relentless, unstoppable or a “girl boss.” It’s not about learning to become a multi-tasking unicorn or saying yes to everything or “hacks” (that word will never not remind me of a phlegm-filled cough, yikes). It’s not about constantly pushing yourself or not backing down.
Hope
I rarely get up early enough to see the sun rise and I was grateful to have an important reason to show up on that chilly Colorado morning. In my journal I wrote, “I knew it was going to be a great day. The sunrise was beautiful, very pink, and the first song I heard when I turned on KDUR was Bill Withers singing ‘Lovely Day.’
